Outings you Shouldn’t Overlook in Las Vegas

Travelling can be a very good adventure. Regardless of whether it means taking a plane to travel across the world or driving two hours to a neighboring town, the experience is always a fresh one. Travelling is a wonderful opportunity to eat new foods, to know an exciting new language, to make new friends and to have fun adventures. When in Las Vegas you’ll want to be sure you don’t lose out on the historic Airport Runway Vista. History and culture are definitely the reasons people will go to Las Vegas. While you happen to be there, don’t forget to check out the fantastic Exploration Park – it truly gives you the chance to reconnect with nature.

Las Vegas has amazing and insightful cultural centres for instance the Pinball Hall Of Fame and the Trifecta Gallery, where one can delight in the resourcefulness and intellect of the human race. Or why don’t you treat yourself to a little shopping? The the downtown area shopping center has something for any taste.

If you’re looking for some different scenery while eating lunch grab some food and head here to watch the planes land. It’s a small lot off of Sunset that faces the runways of McCarran. Seeing them land every couple minutes makes for a cool and unique view especially if you have kids that are into planes. They’re gonna love it!

Aside from the planes you’ll see all types of people here — the amateur photographer looking for that perfect shot, people on their lunch break, and even couples making out in their cars (cheaper than getting a hotel room, I guess).

Best park ever!

Went here on a weekday early-mid morning, not a lot of people so there was plenty of room to run around and act like fool. Went up for a walk to the hill’s peak and it was just a breathtaking view! 360 degrees of las Vegas! I picked a bad day to actually walk up there it was so windy I swear i could’ve just flown away if I wanted to! Sat in the grass area which was nice and relaxing, unfortunately the grass was a little wet so my butt got wet haha. This is a nice place to have a picnic.

Try to come here when there aren’t a lot of people, it can get crowded especially when the weather’s so nice and after school hours.

Yelp reminded me that I’ve had this bookmark for over 4 1/2 years… and I finally made it here this weekend. It’s insane – so very many old pinball machines! It was so neat to play the older machines that you’ve never even seen before. I also really enjoyed the Pinball Circus machine – one of only 3 in the world – even though I sucked at playing it. ;) A good variety of machines here, but I wished all of them were functional. It’s a non-profit organization though, so I can’t complain too much. ;)

Free admission and several machines to give you more quarters.

Gallerina and artist Marty Walsh, has been running her small 500 square foot gallery for four years and going strong! She always puts together wonderful exhibitions from young and established artists alike. She has a gallery that is not overwhelming for new collectors and always is working hard to bring amazing work to the valley
Bravo Marty!

You can also watch the 18-minute show of the Sirens at TI in Treasure Island with sword fights, pyrotechnics and a sinking ship. This a free show so you don’t have to spend a penny to catch it. There’s also the World’s Permanent Circus at Circus Circus. Acts include jugglers, unicyclists, trapeze artists and acrobats and it’s also for free.
